Offices of the United States Attorneys: Transnational Organized Crime Symposium Copy
April 22, 2020 @ 8:00 am - April 23, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
“This Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) sponsored symposium is open to Prosecutors and Intelligence Specialists within the U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal and National Security Divisions. The agenda will highlight the tools and resources that OCDETF offers in combatting non-drug-centric Transnational Organized Crime (TOC) activities by sophisticated foreign and domestic criminal enterprises engaged in large-scale financial frauds, human and weapons trafficking, corruption, and other schemes. The symposium will address the challenges of identifying and investigating TOC actors and networks impacting the U.S. economy, circumventing financial institutional safeguards, and threatening public safety. Most of the presentations will be classified at the SECRET level. Please contact your District Office Security Manager (DOSM) prior to completing the nomination process in order to verify your clearance. The Office of Legal Education will certify your clearance; therefore, no action is required of you or your DOSM if your clearance is current. Interim clearances will not be accepted.”
