“This seminar is intended for prosecutors and will focus on investigating and prosecuting child sex trafficking cases. The seminar will provide an overview of child sex trafficking in the United States and will address the unique challenges involved in these cases. Topics will include effective investigative strategies and techniques; the prosecutor’s role in the development of a successful task force; strategies for developing victim testimony and identifying services for victims; charging options; pretrial litigation strategies; how to effectively prove a case at trial; and sentencing and restitution issues.”
