Reference Guide On Protecting the Rights of Child Victims of Trafficking in Europe
To improve the protection of child victims in anti-trafficking efforts, UNICEF developed the Guidelines on Protection of the Rights of Child Victims of Trafficking. The Guidelines outline the minimum standards for safe-guarding the rights of child victims of trafficking at each stage of anti-trafficking interventions. This Guide aims to be a practical tool to assist implementation, explaining and illustrating the implications of each of the standards and measures outlined in the Guidelines and their interconnections. The Guide should also serve as a reference for setting up polices and specific actions and as such is of special use for policy makers, legislators and practitioners responsible for protecting and assisting child victims of trafficking.
